Sauce on the Side Productions, Inc. was created by Aimee and Linda, (us)
two girls who met while working together in Providence, Rhode Island.
They had little in common, or so they thought.
For while their lifestyles were quite different,
they shared identical long-term goals.
Each of them was developing their own business idea,
and would discuss their ideas together whenever they had a chance.
They grew to value each other’s advice and opinions,
and though they shared many of the same general views on business,
it was their differences that really offered the interesting perspectives.
So they continued to bounce ideas off each other and soon came up with
one GREAT idea ---
Sauce on the Side Productions, Inc.!
THE NAME…
“Sauce on the Side” is a restaurant phrase attached to a “special” order when a guest has requested their sauce to be served on the side instead of on top of the food item. “SOS” is kitchen slang for the phrase. Appropriate, we thought, for our business since we cater to special needs of sauce lovers everywhere, and because our sauces, dressings and marinades will “rescue” you in times of trouble! S.O.S. says it all!
OUR BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY…
Service…Service…Service! Offer a great product at a reasonable price, with a genuine interest in consumer response. Honestly…that’s success!
WHY IT WORKS…
We each have different strengths and weaknesses that we bring to the partnership, so naturally, we assume roles that suit our own abilities. The leftovers we work on together.So if you contact us with a question about recipes, cooking tips, or anything else that is food related, you’ll probably hear back from Linda.
